Posing as Sahiba's husband, Karan enters her home. Reason: he wants to help her get out of the fear she has of her father. What's more, he finds himself unable to tell her family the truth.

You wonder:
a) Is the family so insensitive that they don't notice their daughter's desperate expressions?

b) Why both Karan and Sahiba can't tell the family that they are not really married. The two hem and haw so much, it's exasperating. You could argue that perhaps Karan, as an outsider, might have thought it impolite to embroil himself in affairs famlial.

c) Why, pray, does Sahiba not help matters? Why, for example, does she go around looking so very helpless?
