Tata Indicom slashes tariff rates

Tata Indicom has announced a slash in tariffs for its fixed wireless, wireline and public telephone booths in Tamil Nadu, AP, Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
A press release said that under the new tariff structure, customers can now save up to 33 per cent on calling expenses on intra-circle as well as inter-circle calling.
Intra-circle calls to any number will be charged Rs 1.20 on a 60-second pulse while inter-circle calls to any number beyond 50 kms will be Rs 2.40 per minute.
