New Writtle Road Chelmsford Essex CM2 0PG
The 6000-seater headquarters of Essex, home base for the Bangladesh World
Cup squad, has good memories for the Indians. The only LOI ever played at
the venue was in the 1983 World Cup, and saw India pull off a fine win
against the strong Australian side. Interestingly, supporters of adjoining
county Warwickshire pumped in the money that helped develop this ground
into the headquarters of Essex's county team.
Schedule: 17 May, New Zealand v Bangladesh
