Knight dropped; Hussain inNick Knight has lost his opening slot to Nasser Hussain for the opening game against Sri Lanka this afternoon. Knight has not been in the best of form since the start of the season. There was speculation about his place in the side after a series of failures in the warm-up games. Hussain was asked by chairman of the English selectors David Graveney to open the batting for his county in one of the warm-up games against England. Nasser hit a fluent half-century and gave the England team management a fresh game plan.
