Osama bin Laden seen in Kandahar: Report

Terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden has been spotted in Kandahar, the Taleban's southern bastion, a media report said on Saturday.

Laden was in the city mainly to "boost the morale of the people who have been braving the carpet bombing (by the United States) for the last couple of days", the Pakistan Observer quoted sources as saying.

It said Laden, who is hiding in one of the "longest caves", addressed a gathering of his "Arab elite guard and the local residents".
