Suman Motels is planning to build two resorts, with a water park along the Konkan coast in Goa and in Sindhdurg as a part its expansion plans in the western region.
These plans follow the group's water park project coming up at Lonavala in collaboration with UK-based Octopus Developers. Suman is planning to have three more water parks, including one in Goa.
The company, which concentrates on tourism for the middle class, actually has plans innaugurate 12 new three-star resorts all over India. These plans include a unique resort village project at Mangao in Maharasthra, a hill station. It will be possible to reach Mangao by helicopter.
On the same lines, Suman Motels has plans for a resort in Goa and Sindhudurg, of Rs 10 crore each. Besides the water park, the resort will run a catamaran service from Bombay to Goa, like the service it is presently running from Bombay to Alibagh.
