If you have one day

Spend the morning visiting the Osho Commune. A quick bite at the German Bakery makes for a good lunch. In the afternoon head for the Agha Khan Palace.

If you have two days

On the second day head for the ancient Peshwa quarters, where Shaniwarwada Palace and Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum are located, as well as the various bazaars or peths. Alternately visit the Panchaleshwar Temple or the Tribal Museum.

If you have five days

Spend the next two or three days at nearby Mahabaleshwar a pretty colonial hill station. Alternately make tracks for Panchgani or Matheran also charming hill stations, hardly two hours away by road.
