McLaren and Red Bull face threats of another kind from Force India after the Vijay Mallya-owned Formula One outfit unveiled a swanky motorhome in Barcelona on Thursday, ahead of Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix.
The team unveiled their brand new trackside venue in the paddock at the Circuit de Catalunya and plans to bring it to all the European races this season.
With a glass-fronted facade and state-of-the-art facilities, the grid's newest team hopes the motorhome will set a fresh standard for paddock hospitality and rival McLaren's 'Brand Centre' and Red Bull's 'Energy Station' as the toast of the pit lane's glitterati.
Meanwhile, Formula One's governing body, FIA, launched an official campaign against prejudice in the sport, which follows the racist behaviour displayed towards Lewis Hamilton [Images] by spectators in Spain earlier this year.
The 'EveryRace' campaign encourages fans to visit www.everyrace.net and pledge their support for the message that motorsport welcomes everyone, irrespective of gender, race or background.
"The sport is all about a driver's ability and this will never have anything to do with their race or the colour of their skin," F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone said.
Hamilton too threw his weight behind the campaign and said, "I believe that motor sport, like all other sports, is about freedom of expression in the pursuit of competition and excellence. Nothing more, nothing less."
Ferrari [Images] driver Felipe Massa [Images] said, "The whole Formula One community should get behind this campaign. Formula One is a global sport and we should use it to promote equality wherever we can."
