Leander Paes [Images] and Mahesh Bhupathi [Images] had contrasting results in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters doubles on Wednesday.
While the former, in partnership with Australian Paul Hanley [Images], went down 4-6 6-3 10-3 to the second seeded Israeli duo of Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich, Bhupathi, seeded fourth along with his Bahamas partner Mark Knowles, scored a comfortable 6-4 6-3 win over the Brazilian pair of Andre Sa and M Melo.
