Fourth seed Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan ended the dream run of unseeded Stefanie Voegele of Switzerland to clinch the singles crown in the University of Mumbai
ITF women's US  $25,000 tournament at the Kalina University Campus, in Mumbai, on Saturday.

In the championship round that lasted an hour and eight minutes, world No 230 Amanmuradova, playing in familiar conditions, won 6-0, 7-5.

The Uzbek lass, who is no stranger to Mumbai and the ITF circuit in India, breezed past Voegele in the opening set without dropping a game, to kick off the contest in dream fashion.
Voegele came up with a determined effort in the second set as games went with serve. But Amanmuradova earned a crucial break in the 11th game to take a 6-5 lead before serving out the set and match.

On Friday, Amanmuradova partnered Nina Bratchikova of Russia to clinch the doubles crown following a convincing 6-2, 6-3 victory over Voegele and Olga Panova of Russia in the final.

Amanmuradova earned US $2940 and 25 points, while Voegele received US $1666 and 17 points.
