Reader Ashley D'Souza (second from right), elder brother of India's hockey goalkeeper Adrian D'Souza, sent us this picture from Malaysia.

'The picture with Adrian is from the Sultan Azlan Shah in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The pic was taken on 25th June 2006,' writes Ashley.

'India were playing New Zealand [Images] for the bronze medal. Adrian had a fantasic game and India came out winners 3-2.'

'Adrian and the team were ecstatic because it was Adrian's first senior India medal. He has won many accolades at the junior level, even leading India at the Junior World Cup, but this was special.'

'Walking up that podium was special to him because we have grown up watching the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup.'

'It was nice to have my colleagues from work cheer India to their maiden podium finish in around 3 years.'
