Rupesh Roy and his Venezuelan partner Roberto Maytin crashed out of the boys' doubles at the US Open, losing 7-6 (8/6), 4-6, 6-7 (5/7) to the American duo of Jarmere Jenkins and Austin Krajicek in the quarter-finals.
Rupesh and Roberto lost a bitterly-fought contest as India's challenge in the junior competition ended in the last Grand Slam of the year.
Rupesh crashed out of the singles event in the first round and his doubles show was the best by any Indian junior in fray in the US Open.
