Unseeded Karun Uday Singh of Delhi set up a title clash with Debendra Das of Maharashtra in the under 16 boys' group by outclassing Gaurav Walia in straight sets in the semi finals of the the Xtra Premium National Series Tennis Championship in Mumbai on Friday.
Uday Singh prevailed over Maharashtra's Gaurav Walia 6-2, 6-1 while local lad Das upset seventh seed Ankit Sachdeva of Delhi 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7-2) in another semi-final.
The boys under-14 final would pit No 3 Mohit Mayur of Tamil Nadu against No 8 Chetan Pandit of Andhra Pradesh the final after they recorded contrasting semi-final wins.
Mayur beat Mumbai's seventh seeded Shahbaz Khan in three hard-fought sets while Pandit surprised fourth seeded S V Abhishek of Andhra Pradesh 6-2, 6-2.
The fine run of Maharashtra's Jenai Billimoria ended when she lost in the girls under 16 semi-finals and under-14 quarter-finals.
Unseeded Sonia Dayal of Maharashtra will face No 5 Tanvi Shah in the under 16 final while No 2 M Divija of AP will take on No 3 Gopika Kapoor of Delhi in the under 14 title clash.

Girls U-14 (Semi finals): 3-Gopika Kapoor (Del) bt Nupur Kaul (Mah) 7-5, 6-1; 2-M Divija (AP) bt 4-Rashika Sunkara (Del) 6-0, 6-0.
Girls U-14 doubles (Final): Natalia Khaneijo/Sharmada Balu bt Anuja Makan/Madhuri Patere 6-2, 6-3.
