Federation Cup champions Dempo Sports Club beat Sporting Clube de Goa [Images] 2-1 in a 12th round match of National Football League on Saturday to avenge the 0-4 drubbing they suffered in the first leg, in Margao, Goa, Saturday.

Dempo, who held sway throughout, scored in each half through Nigerian recruits Ranty Martins (27^th minute) and Bolaji Majek (85th).

Sporting Clube, who failed to impress, came with sporadic moves and reduced the margin in injury time through Dudu Omagbemi.
