Jeev Milkha Singh [Images] slipped to second place from his overnight lead even as two other Indians cruised into the top-ten at the mid-way stage of the USD 500,000 39th Thailand Open being played at the par-72, Blue Canyon Country Club at Phuket.

While Jeev fired a second round 69 for a tally of ten-under 134, rookie Shiv Kapur followed up his opening round 70, with a 68 to tie fourth at 138.  Harmeet Kahlon who shot his second straight round of 70 was tied-sixth at 140.

Australian Scott Barr led the field at 11-under 133 after returning a second round card of 68.

Jeev's outward journey was error free with birdies on the third, followed by two more on the seventh and eighth. Three under on the tenth-tee box, the Japanese PGA Tour regular dropped shots on the 11th and 13th but more than made up with birdies on the 14th and 18th for a card of 69.

Shiv Kapur started with a birdie but dropped a shot on the third and another on the sixth.  Birdies on the seventh and eighth were followed by another bogey on the ninth.  The Asian Games Gold Medalist went into his back-nine at level-par.
