India rallied superbly to beat Spain 3-2 for their second straight win in the four-nation junior hockey tournament in Bilbao, Spain.
In another match Holland, who had lost their opening encounter against India, recorded their maiden win with a 5-1 thumping of Chile.
Spain took the lead in the first half and did well to maintain that till the half-time despite the Indians trying hard for the equaliser.
The Indians appeared a lot more determined in the second half and as soon as the game resumed they scored two quick goals through drag flicker Sandeep Singh.
The World Cup champions consolidated their position further when V Raja scored a field goal in the 58th minute, converting a pass from Tushar Khandekar into the net.
Though the Spaniards reduced the margin four minutes later through a penalty stroke, India preserved their lead till the end to emerge winners.
India, who will play Chile in their last match, just need a draw to win the title.
