Eighteen-year-old Rafael Nadal [Images] captured his second ATP Tour title in as many weeks when he destroyed fellow Spaniard Albert Montanes in the $643,000 Abierto Mexicano event in Acapulco, Mexico on Saturday.
The unseeded Montanes, playing in his first final of the year, was no match for the eighth seed who romped to a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
It was the third career title for Nadal, who defeated compatriot Alberto Martin in last week's Brazil [Images] Open final.
Nadal ended 2004 in style by beating Andy Roddick [Images] to help Spain defeat the United States in the final of the Davis Cup.
