61 in Indian Olympics team

Nine athletes, eight shooters and six archers are among 61 Indian sportspersons who have qualified for the Athens Olympics.
Releasing the names of those who have earned berths to the August 13-29 Games, the Indian Olympic Association said 27 more could be added to the list after the completion of qualifying events in the coming weeks.
The hockey team, which made the grade after finishing fourth in the Olympic qualifer in Madrid in March will have 16 players.
The list those who have qualified:
Athletics: Anju Bobby George, Amritpal Singh (long jump); Neelam J Singh, Seema Antil, Harwant Kaur, Anil Kumar (discus throw); J J Shobha (hepthatlon); K M Binu, Rajwinder Kaur (400m); Bahadur Singh (shot put).
Badminton: Aparna Popat, Abhinn Shyam Gupta (singles).
Boxing: Jitender Kumar (81kg), Akhil Kumar (51kg), Divakar Prasad (57kg), Vijender (67kg).
Judo: Akram Saha (60kg).
Rowing: P T Paulose (open single scull).
Shooting: Abhinav Bindra, Anjali Bhagwat, Gagan Narang, Suma Shirur (air rifle); Manavjit Singh (trap); Rajyavardhan Rathore (double trap); Mansher Singh (trap); Deepali Deshpande (50m rifle 3-position).
Swimming: Shikha Tandon (50m and 100m freestyle).
Table Tennis: Mouma Das, A Sharath Kamal (singles).
Wrestling: Sushil Kumar (60kg freestyle); Sujit Mann (74kg freestyle); Ramesh Kumar (66kg freestyle); Yogeshwar Dutt (55kg freestyle); Palwinder Chima (120kg freestyle); Anil Chaudhary (85kg freestyle); Mukesh Khatri (55kg Greco-Roman).
Hockey: 16-member team.
Archery: Three men and three women.
Weightlifting: Four women.
