Nistelrooy set to become United legendFormer England manager Bobby Robson expects Ruud van Nistelrooy to become a Manchester United legend after he lifted his goal tally for the season to 20 against Newcastle United on Wednesday night. Robson, who was the Dutch striker's manager during his time at PSV Eindhoven in 1998, also said the 25-year-old was quite capable of scoring 25 goals each season in the English premier league. "Ruud is a quality player and he will be a legend here down the years," Newcastle manager Robson said after United beat his side 3-1 on Wednesday night to move into second place in the premier league standings. "He scores goals, has good energy levels and is quick. He can also shoot with either foot. "He's a good character...and he has marvellous footballing qualities. He is strong and quick and can play with his back to goal, he can play facing the goal. "He joins in the attack and moves don't break down off him. "He's a 25-goal-a-year merchant in the English premiership. He was outstanding for PSV and I know at his age you can only get better."
