Lee-Hesh win Houston titleThe second-seeded Indian duo of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi won their second straight doubles title when they annexed the $350,000 US Claycourt Championships at the Westside Tennis Club, Houston. After being pushed into the tie-breaker in the first set by the unseeded American pair of Kevin Kim and Jim Thomas, the Indian pair, ranked world number one a year ago, stormed back to play flawless tennis in the second set, to wrap up the game 7-6, 6-2. With the win, the Indians continue their comeback, the Houston title coming on the back of the Verizon Atlanta Challenge a week earlier where they defeated the top-ranked pair of Rick Leach and D.MacPherson.
