Second win for India in
Jr. Asia Cup hockey
India defeated Malaysia 6-4 on Tuesday in a Group A match in the Asia Cup under-18
Junior hockey championship in Ipoh, Malaysia.
For India, forward Khandekar and full back Jugraj Singh scored a brace each while forwards Raju and Rajpal Singh scored
one goal apiece.
The teams were locked 1-1 at half-time.
India had defeated Oman 7-0 in their first match.
Singapore and Brunei are the other two teams in Group A.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the
semi-finals.
