Johnson and Palmer win doubles at WimbledonAmericans Donald Johnson and Jared Palmer won the men's doubles title at Wimbledon on Sunday, beating Jiri Novak and David Rikl of the Czech Republic 6-4 4-6 6-3 7-6. The final was held over from Saturday after rain stopped play midway through the first set. Fourth seeds Johnson and Parmer, first round losers at Roland Garros, extended their winning streak to 9-0 on grass following their win at the Nottingham Open two weeks ago. The duo are the first all-American pair to win the championship since Rick Leach and Jim Pugh in 1990. Novak and Rikl were the third seeds.
