Harikrishna maintains joint leadGrandmaster norm holder IM P Harikrishna of India maintained his joint lead on four points after the end of the sixth round of the Corus Grandmaster Group B chess tournament. Playing black against IM Karel Van der Weide of The Netherlands, Harikrishna employed his new found ideas in the Sicilian Pelikan and achieved easy equality in the middlegame. A fighter to the core, Harikrishna tried hard for complications but the nature of the position did not allow him any advantage and the truce was signed after 66 moves.
