Agassi and Graf reportedly set for September weddingTennis greats Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf are definitely getting married soon but publicists on Wednesday were unable to confirm they had set a date despite published reports that the duo plan a September 15 wedding in Las Vegas. Agassi, 31, and Graf, 32, are expecting a baby in December and last week Agassi confirmed in published interviews that becoming parents put a time frame on getting married. Despite a report in the German magazine Gala that the couple would marry on Sept. 15, Agassi's publicist said she could not confirm the date. "The 15th I can't confirm. This is the first time I've heard this. We don't respond to rumors," Agassi spokeswoman Marcia Ragan said. Agassi, the third-ranked men's tennis player in the world, married actress Brooke Shields in April 1997 after a highly publicized romance. They divorced two years later in early 1999 just before an astonishing run that won him the French and U.S. Open crowns, and a place in the Wimbledon final. Graf, the former top-ranked women's player until she retired in 1999, split with Michael Bartels, her motor-racing driver boyfriend of seven years shortly before news of her liaison with Agassi became public just after the 1999 U.S. Open final. Last week Agassi told reporters he looked forward to the birth of his child and said "It wouldn't be right not to get married" to Graf. Agassi and Graf have reportedly bought a $23 million home in the San Francisco area and were working out details of a prenuptial agreement earlier this summer. A publicist for Graf was not immediately available for comment on Wednesday.
