Lombi's 'trick' flattens SpainArgentine sharpshooter Jorge Lombi continued his goal spree in the Olympic men's hockey to leave Spain with a humiliating 5-1 defeat on Monday. Lombi, who scored four goals against Poland, pumped in three as Argentina recorded it's first win over the Atlanta silver-medallists in an inconsequential group B match. With both teams out of contention for the semi-finals, Argentina ended the preliminary league with five points against Spain's two. But Argentina, who took part in the Olympics only because the South African government withdrew it's men's team, gave themselves a chance to finish among the top six and qualify for the next Champions Trophy The 28-year-old Lombi heads the scorers list with 10 goals, four more than his nearest rival Sohail Abbas of Pakistan. Argentina's romp came after Spain took a fifth minute lead through Xavier Ribas. Lombi scored his first goal in the 23rd minute as both teams went into half-time locked 1-1. Lombi then scored two more and Matias Vila and Mario Almada one each as Argentina hammered four goals in the last 25 minutes.
