Let the Don do itCricketing legend Don Bradman was the top choice in an Australian poll for the best person to light the Olympic cauldron at Friday's opening ceremony. Fifty-two percent backed Bradman in a poll conducted by the telecommunications company Optecom. He took a hefty lead over swimming icon Dawn Fraser with 22 percent. Next in line with 17 percent came athletics gold medallist Betty Cuthbert. Cuthbert, now wheelchair-bound with multiple sclerosis, is the current favourite to take the honour before the eyes of the world in Stadium Australia.
