Czechs hold US with penalty goalLukas Dosek's second half penalty salvaged a 2-2 draw for the Czech Republic against the United States in the men's football tournament on Wednesday. Dosek's 52nd minute goal came after US captain Chad McCarty was shown a yellow card for bringing down Marek Heinz in the penalty area. It was the second time the Czech side had to come from behind against the US. Before the game the Czechs were highly fancied to defeat the US, who have never got past the group stage at the Olympic Games. But the US shocked their opponents by scoring the first goal in the 21st minute as Chris Albright finished off a Josh Wolff cross. The Czech's bounched back, and Marek Jankulovski levelled the score with a cracking left foot shot from the edge of the penalty area in the 28th minute. In the 44th minute, the US went ahead 2-1 after Wolff finished off some good lead-up work from Jeff Agoos and an accurate cross from Conor Casey. The Czechs were quick to recover once more, however, and they got their reward through Dosek's 52nd minute penalty.
