Michael Kasprowicz for final Test

Rookie paceman Brett Lee was today named as Australia's 12th man for the third and final cricket Test against Pakistan starting at the WACA tomorrow.

Australian captain Steve Waugh said Michael Kasprowicz had been recalled to the starting team with the uncapped Lee chosen to carry the drinks.

''Michael's been bowling really well at the moment and deserves his chance,'' Waugh said.

''He's a proven Test match player and is a gutsy player who always gives 100 per cent.''

Lee, 23, is already the fastest bowler in Australia and Waugh expects him to break into the team before the end of the season.

Waugh said the New South Welshman was drafted into the squad to get some experience. Australia have already clinched the series after winning the first two Tests.

"He's really quick. There's no doubt he'll play Test cricket and it won't be that far away,'' Waugh said.

The team:
Michael Slater, Greg Blewett, Justin Langer, Mark Waugh, Steve Waugh (captain), Ricky Ponting, Adam Ggilchrist, Shane Warne, Damien Fleming, Michael Kasprowicz, Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee (12th man).
