India's approach of "cohesive diplomacy" has "forced" Pakistan to admit that its soil was used for launching the Mumbai [Images] attacks, Home Minister P Chidamabaram said on Monday and asked Islamabad [Images] to complete its probe and punish all the guilty.

He also said chargesheet against Ajmal Amir Kasab [Images], the lone terrorist captured in the 26/11 attacks, will be filed in
a Mumbai court in a "couple of days".

"Our approach of cohesive diplomacy has forced Pakistan to admit that its soil was used for launching of terror attacks against India and now we want that Pakistan should complete its investigation and punish all the guilty, who were involved in the attack," he told reporters.

Chidambaram, who was in Jalandhar for laying the foundation stone of a memorial for martyr Bhagat Singh, was responding to a question on Indo-Pak ties, especially after Mumbai attacks. "No doubt that we want to have friendly relations with the neighbouring country, but friendship should be on mutual basis for which Pakistan should ensure that its soil should not be used for terror activities," he said.

Chidambaram said Pakistan government has taken some action and even promised to take more but "let us see whether
it takes the promises to its logical conclusion."
