Six suspected Indian Mujahideen [Images] terrorists, accused of carrying out the September 13 serial blasts in the Capital, were remanded on Wednesday to another 14 days' judicial custody by a Delhi [Images] Court. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja extended the judicial custody of accused Mohammed Saif, Zeeshan Ahmed, Saquib Nissar, Zia-ur -Rehman, Mohd Shakeel and Mohd Hakhim till March 4. The six accused were remanded to judicial custody in cases registered in Connaught Place and Tilak Marg police stations in Delhi. Five separate cases were registered in Karol Bagh, Connaught Place, Greater Kailash and Tilak Marg police stations after the blasts and recovery of live bombs on September 13. The police have already filed chargesheets in the three cases registered after completing their investigation. The serial blasts in the Capital had claimed 26 lives and left several others injured. The accused have been booked under various provisions of IPC including those related to murder, attempt to murder and waging war against the country.The police have also invoked provisions of the Explosive Substances Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act against the six accused. Mohammed Saif was apprehended from the Batla House area in Jamia Nagar in south Delhi following an encounter while three others -- Zia, Shakeel and Saquib -- were arrested a day later, on September 20, from Shaheen Bagh here.
