Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday invited Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bhainsla for talks in Jaipur on Sunday, in a bid to end the community members' violent agitation, demanding Scheduled Caste status for them.

Raje's media advisor Vijay Sharma said the talks had been fixed at 11 am on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Bhaisla told reporters in Kherwadi in Bharatpur district that he was ready to talk to the government but would continue the agitation till their demand was met.

The police firing on violent Gujjar protestors claimed 31 lives in two days, including 15 today, in Bharatpur and Dausa districts.

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan government removed the Collector, District Magistrate and Superintendents of Police of Bharatpur and Kaurali districts, in the wake of the violent Gujjars' agitation there.

Bharatpur Collector T Ravikant and Kaurali District Magistrate Navin Jain were removed with immediate effect.

The SPs S Sanghather of Bharatpur and D L Purai of Kaurali have also been eased out, an official release said.
