The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday arrested Rajkumar, domestic help of the Durranis, in connection with the Aarushi Talwar murder case. The Durranis are family friends of the Talwars.
He was arrested after the forensic examination of a washed T-shirt belonging to Rajkumar revealed that it had blood of human origin.
The CBI has already arrested Aarushi's father Dr Rajesh Talwar and his compounder Krishna for the murder of Aarushi and their servant Hemraj.
Announcing his arrest, Joint Director of CBI Arun Kumar said that Rajkumar was subjected to lie-detector test, psychological assessment, brain mapping and narco-analysis tests at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory, Gandhinagar in Gujarat from June 23 to June 26.
The apparel has been sent to CDFD, Hyderabad for further forensic tests, the official said. He would be produced before the Duty Magistrate in Ghaziabad on Saturday.
Asked whether the blood matched with either of the victims, Kumar said, "The t-shirt has been sent to Hyderabad to check that."
