A fire broke out at an under-construction building in central Mumbai on Thursday evening and some people were feared to be trapped inside, the fire brigade said.
A suspected short circuit caused the fire in the building at Worli Naka.
Eight fire engines and six water tankers have been rushed to the spot to control the blaze, they added.
