Investigating agencies probing the serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad [Images] claimed that they have got some leads and are working on them.

"We have got some leads and we are working on them. But we will not reveal it to the media at present," a top official involved with the probe said.

Maintaining that the probe was moving in the 'right direction', Health Minister and government spokesperson Jaynarayan Vyas said, "We are not going to reveal any names (of terrorist organisation) at present as it will be deterrent to the probe".

Various e-mails sent to television channels are also under the scrutiny of the state investigating agencies.

"E-mails sent to media organisations from Navi Mumbai is the definite clue for involvement of a terrorist organisation," police officials said.

The police had on Monday obtained the remand of Students Islamic Movement of India activist Abdul Halim and are interrogating him at present. They refused to give any details on what he has revealed so far.

The police suspect that people from Navi Mumbai area might be involved in some way with the blasts as the e-mail has been traced from that area and the explosive laden cars found from Surat [Images] were also tracked to that area, officials said.

Police is also focusing on Vadodara for investigations as the fake number plates found on all the cars had entered the city from Vadodara, officials said.

The Gujarat Crime Branch is also co-ordinating with police teams from other states to find out the links of pan-national groups involved in the attack.

Combing operations are on and police are questioning people detained by them for more clues on the blasts, the officials said.

A team from the Rajasthan police is in the city to assist the crime branch with the investigations, which bears similarity with the Jaipur bomb blasts, police sources said.

The state government has formed a special committee to coordinate between investigating agencies of the Centre and other states, including Gujarat.
