Pakistan has rejected India's allegation about the involvement of its Inter-Services Intelligence agency in the recent suicide attack on the Indian Embassy in Afghanistan capital Kabul.

"It was unfair for India to blame Pakistan without any solid evidence," Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar said.

However, such baseless allegations would not affect Pakistan-India relations, he added. Mukhtar, while talking to journalists, said the attack on the Indian embassy in the Afghan capital was a bid to destabilise Indo-Pakistan relations.

He said it was "not sagacious" to level allegations without any proof, especially when efforts are being made to improve bilateral ties. Information and Broadcasting Minister Sherry Rehman too denied the Indian official's allegation.
