His country may not have made it to the Asia Cup finals in Karachi on Sunday, but that did not prevent Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images] from watching Sri Lanka [Images] thrash India at the National Stadium.
And what we couldn't help notice was that the new-look Pakistan president -- whose current job description is one, to thwart being impeached by the elected government of his country and, two, to keep his present job since he feels he is his country's and the West's best bet to fight extremists has taken to sporting a fair bit of girth. Check the image on the right, you can make out the contours clearly there.
And compare it with the dapper image on the left, of Musharraf from more than a year ago, when Musharraf was the only rider on the Pakistani saddle.
Which leads us to conclude that a man needs his job to keep fit!
