Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi being arrested at his home in Colaba in South Mumbai on Wednesday.
He was taken to the Bhoiwada court in central Mumbai. However, the court granted him bail and he was released on a surety of Rs 10,000.
He had been charged under sectionb 153 A (promoting enmity between groups on the basis of places of birth, residence etc.
