In a moving gesture, Chiranjeevi [Images] has given the first membership of his yet to be named political party to a physically challenged person from Hyderabad, who traveled all the way to the capital city to meet the actor-turned-politician.

Chiranjeevi came across K Balakrishna Naidu at his office while interacting with his fans. Other fans drew his attention to Balakrishna, who had been patiently waiting for him for some hours.

In a spontaneous move, Chiranjeevi took the physically challenged youth inside the office and sat with him on a sofa to talk to him. As the visitor had difficulty and had to repeat himself several times to make himself audible, the actor leaned closer to him and held a microphone near him.

Chiranjeevi announced that he was giving the first membership of his party to Balakrishna Naidu. "I, myself will be the second member of the party", the actor said. "He deserves this honour".
 
Chiranjeevi is all set to formally unveil the name and flag of his party at Tirupati on Tuesday.

Earlier, Balakrishna said that he had been the superstar's fan since a long time and expressed his sadness over Chiranjeevi quitting films. "I request you to work in at least one film every two years," he said.
 
"I will remain in Annayya's party till my last breath and work up to my best capacity for his party", said Naidu.

Chiranjeevi told him that even his wife Surekha was not happy over his decision to quit films. "But having decided to join politics, it is inevitable that I will have to quit films", he said.
 
Chiranjeevi called his personal security officer Hanumantha Rao and asked him to ensure that whenever Balakrishna Naidu comes to the office, he should directly bring him to his chambers.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi spent his 54th birthday at home with his family members including his mother Anjana Devi. The celebrations were a private affair as the actor had issued a public appeal to his fans not to travel to Hyderabad to meet him on the occasion. "Instead, come to Tirupati for the public meeting," he told them.
 
He also asked each fan to plant a tree to help save the environment. "If you love me, each of you should plant one tree", he told them.

While the star preferred a low-key birthday, his fans celebrated the occasion with zeal and enthusiasm by organising lunches, cake cutting ceremonies, blood donation camps and health camps. In one camp in Hyderabad, organised by Chiranjeevi's fans, as many as 2,000 people donated their blood.

But the enthusiasm of Chiranjeevi's fans led to trouble at some places. Two rival groups of fans clashed in Nuzvidu in Krishna district as they disagreed on who had the right to organise the celebrations.
