Eight persons were killed and four others injured when a bus collided with an autorickshaw near Sahswan in Uttar Pradesh's Budaon district on Monday morning.

The accident occurred when a roadways bus, on its way to Budaon from New Delhi, rammed into an autorickshaw early on Monday morning, said the police.

The passengers of the ill-fated vehicle were returning to Sahswan after attending a fair.

The injured have been admitted to the hospital and senior officials have rushed to the spot, said the police.
