India has informed Bangladesh about the existence of terrorists and their training camps on its soil, but Dhaka is yet to take effective action to curb anti-India activities, Home Minister Shivraj Patil said on Wednesday.

Replying to supplementaries on the twin blasts in Hyderabad during Question Hour in Rajya Sabha, he said, "We have shared information (about terrorists and their camps in Bangladesh). But, we are yet to see some effective action."

Information about anti-India activities and terrorists in Bangladesh has been shared with Dhaka at three levels -- at the level of director general of police, at joint secretary level and at the level of home secretary, Patil said.

"But, the reply we get is that there are no terrorist camps there," he said.

Patil said Bangladesh is yet to agree on signing an extradition treaty with India.

"We have sent documents (on the treaty), but they say they are considering and will take appropriate action," he said.

On the twin blasts in Hyderabad, he said, "We do have some clues. We are following these clues... we have given information (about the blast mastermind in Bangladesh) to the neighbouring country, we hope to get assistance."

On measures taken by the Centre to curb infiltration from Bangladesh, the home minister said besides fencing the border, patrolling has been intensified and electronic gadgets installed.

On the Hyderabad twin-blasts, Patil said, "Investigation in such matters is done by the state police" and the Centre provides assistance wherever needed.

"We had prior information (about blasts being planned in Hyderabad) and we had passed on the information to the state government. But, unfortunately it could not find time and the location of the blasts," he said.

"Crime, violence and terrorism in Andhra Pradesh has come down by 60 per cent," Patil said.
