With top Jharkhand Congress leaders having stayed away from a United Progressive Alliance meeting on Tuesday claiming that the Madhu Koda government was not listening to its suggestions, the party on Thursday warned that it could take 'any decision, any time'.

"If our suggestions on development are not heard, there could be any decision any time," said Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee president Pradeep Kumar Balmachu.

On October 1, Congress in-charge of Jharkhand Ajay Maken had told the Koda government in clear terms that the continuation of the party's outside support depended on development in the state and steps taken to check corruption.

The chief minister, however, expressed optimism that the UPA would find solutions to whatever problems was faced by the coalition.

The nearly 14-month-old Koda coalition government has a wafer-thin majority and is supported by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which is part of the government and Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal from outside, besides other parties and independent MLAs.

Balmachu asked the government to produce results and work on his party's suggestions because the Congress wanted development of the state to fulfill the aspirations of the people.

JMM supremo Sibu Soren, who is the chairman of the UPA's steering committee, maintained that there were solutions if problems arose.
