More than 35 people were killed in a bomb blast that targetted a police bus in central Kabul, according to the police. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, which has been the deadliest since its regime was overthrown in 2001.
Nearly 45 officers were being taken to the police academy in the bus, which was completely destroyed.
According to reports, a number of officers have been wounded but the figures have not been confirmed yet.
