Maoists blew up a Doordarshan tower in a remote village in Visakhapatinam district, a senior police officer said on Thursday.About 150 naxalites, including over 40 armed men, attacked the tower in Chintapalli, a remote village which is about 850 km from Hyderabad, and blew it up using detonators late on Wednesday night. A government quarters situated near the tower was also blasted by the naxals, the officer told PTI in Hyderabad.
