India and Pakistan should take advantage of the improved relations and conducive international environment to move from confidence building towards resolution of problems, particularly the Kashmir issue, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

Pakistan remains committed to the peace process and composite dialogue with India, which is now in its fourth round, Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said.

Speaking at the weekly press briefing in Islamabad, she said two groups on friendly exchanges have met besides the meeting of the home secretaries last week to discuss counter-terrorism, drug trafficking and other related issues.

To a question, she said the second round of strategic dialogue between Pakistan and the United States would take place in the last quarter of this year.
