Two main witnesses in Professor H S Sabharwal's murder during a college election turned hostile on Monday in a court.

Komal Singh and Manohar Dodia were the witnesses who turned hostile in the court of District and Session Judge Anil Kumar Sharma.

The state CID, which is probing the case, has arrested six persons on the basis of the statements of these two witnesses.

Sabharwal died on August 26 last year, a day after he was allegedly manhandled by ABVP students who were protesting against his decision to cancel students union polls of Madhav College.
