Sikh religious body Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee will extend cooperation for managing more than 150 gurudwaras in Pakistan, its chief said.

SGPC chief Jathedar Avtar Singh Makkar told reporters on Monday that the SGPC has entered into an agreement with the managing committee of Pakistani gurudwaras for mutual cooperation.

He promised that requirements under Guru Granth Sahib for these Gurudwaras will be provided.

Makkar said major gurudwaras in Pakistan were managed quite efficiently but if they required more assistance, then the SGPC will step in.
