Dengue woes continued to trouble Delhi claiming the lives of three middle-aged persons on Saturday, taking the toll to 21 even as the number of fresh cases zoomed past 80.

The total number of dengue patients in Delhi spiralled to 825 as 82 new cases were detected, with majortity of the affected admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Guru Tegh Bahadur hospitals, Delhi government Health Secretary P S Negi told PTI.

Out of the 825 cases, 536 people belong to Delhi. Ten army personnel in Delhi were also afflicted by the disease.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's [Images] grandsons, Rohan (11) and Madhav (17), and son-in-law Vijay Tankha, who are in AIIMS with "suspected dengue", are "stable" and "recovering fast", hospital sources said. They are likely to be discharged on Monday, they said.

MCD Additional Commissioner (Health) K D Akolia said the situation was under control and that there was a decline in the number of dengue patients reaching hospitals in the last two days.
