The services of 12 contract employees involved in fogging operations were terminated due to their negligence in carrying out their duties, Municipal Health Officer N K Yadav informed a meeting of the civic body's standing committee.
The meeting also saw heated exchanges between opposition and ruling benches on the dengue issue. "We have also asked the officials in-charge of fogging in various localities to monitor the operations properly and take note of any indiscipline or negligence in their teams," Yadav said.
