The Madhya Pradesh State Minorities Commission has demanded a ban on the screening of the Aamir Khan-starrer Rang de Basanti.
In a statement in Bhopal, a member of the commission P S Anand opposed the display of a religious symbol along with a semi-nude actor.
He said it can disturb communal harmony in the state.
The movie was screened exclusively for the defence minister and senior officials of the Indian Air Force before the censor board cleared it.
