Four suspected Inter-Services Intelligence agents were on Sunday picked up by the police near L R Pally village of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to newsmen in Nellore, Superintendent of Police Laxmi Reddy said the suspects were picked up following information that bombs and explosives were being produced and transported from a house in the district.

Confirming the reports that the police had raided the house of a person, the SP said the suspects -- three of them belonged to Delhi -- had come to the village posing as Unani and Aurvedic medicine practitioners.

The interrogation is underway and some material used in the production of explosives have been seized from the house.
